The problem

A plant's most expensive faults are the ones nobody sees.

A busbar connection runs hot for months and nobody notices. Harmonic distortion quietly shrinks a transformer's usable capacity. A compressed air line leaks continuously but never appears as its own line on the bill. A UPS battery string dies, and you find out when the power goes.

  • The cost builds before the symptom

    None of these raise an alarm. They surface when production stops or the invoice grows — exactly the point at which fixing them is most expensive.

  • Your team can only describe what it can see

    A maintenance manager can tell you about the problems they know. A harmonic that has never been measured, or a leak nobody can hear, never makes it into a maintenance plan.

  • Measurement ends the argument

    Showing that a problem exists, where it sits and what it costs is the shortest route to getting it fixed.

    We work out what the problem costs: losses, tariff exposure, the probability of unplanned downtime.

    Solve

    We set out the options with their trade-offs. The report and the quotation are separate documents.

    Monitor

We record the electrical behaviour of the site with a network analyser and locate the source of the distortion. Measurement duration follows the objective; for a load profile to mean anything, the instrument usually stays on site for one to two weeks.

Why is my compressor running all the time?

We walk the site with an ultrasonic detector and locate leaks in the compressed air network. Production does not stop; the survey is done while the plant runs and is usually completed in a single visit.

We test UPS and DC system batteries cell by cell. The point is to show how much capacity a string really holds, rather than what its nameplate says.

Why it holds up

A measurement is worth something only if it survives being questioned.

Our report has to stand in an insurance file, in a third-party audit, and in front of your own customer. Three things make that possible.

  • Traceable calibration

    Every instrument works under a traceable calibration certificate and is recalibrated on a schedule. Serial number and calibration date sit inside the report.

  • A documented measurement chain

    A certificate alone is not enough. Instrument class, current and voltage transformers, connection method, sampling and stated uncertainty are all in the report.

  • Finding and quotation are separate

    The report is neutral: it gives the finding, its financial impact and the available options. The quotation is a separate document, and you do not have to accept it to keep the report.
